Ege Turizm Derneği, Ege Bölgesi’nin doğal, kültürel ve tarihsel zenginliklerini koruyarak tanıtmayı, bölgesel kalkınmayı destekleyen sürdürülebilir bir turizm modeli geliştirmeyi misyon edinir. Amacımız; kıyıdan iç bölgelere, büyük şehirlerden küçük kasabalara kadar tüm Ege destinasyonlarını dengeli, nitelikli ve dört mevsime yayılan turizm anlayışıyla buluşturmak, turizmin ekonomik getirilerini yerel halka adil biçimde yansıtmak ve bölgenin yaşam kalitesini yükseltmektir. Vizyonumuz; Ege’yi, çevreye duyarlı, kültürel mirasına sahip çıkan, yerel üretimi ve zanaatkârlığı destekleyen, ziyaretçi deneyimini merkeze alan örnek bir turizm bölgesi olarak dünya sahnesinde konumlandırmaktır. Bu doğrultuda; yerel yönetimler, kamu kurumları, üniversiteler, turizm işletmeleri ve sivil toplum kuruluşlarıyla iş birliği yapar; eğitim programları, temalı rotalar, festivaller, çalıştaylar ve araştırma projeleri geliştiririz. Doğaya saygılı, kültüre duyarlı ve katılımcı yönetim ilkeleriyle, Ege turizmini yalnızca bugünün değil, gelecek nesillerin de yararlanacağı bir değer olarak güçlendirmeyi hedefleriz.

Yönetim kurulumuz; sürdürülebilir turizm, bölgesel kalkınma, kültürel mirasın korunması ve sivil toplum yönetimi alanlarında deneyimli isimlerden oluşur. Her bir yönetim kurulu üyesi, Ege’nin doğal ve kültürel değerlerini geleceğe taşıyacak projeleri geliştirme ve hayata geçirme sorumluluğunu üstlenir. Gönüllü ağımız ise yerel işletmelerden gençlik topluluklarına, rehberlerden turizm öğrencilerine kadar geniş bir yelpazede temsil edilir; böylece hem sahadan geri bildirim alır, hem de projelerimizi yerel halkla birlikte tasarlarız. Uzman danışmanlarımız; turizm planlaması, çevre politikaları, marka iletişimi, dijital turizm, gastronomi ve etkinlik yönetimi gibi alanlarda derneğimize bilimsel ve teknik destek sağlar. Şeffaflık ilkesiyle, ekibimizin görev ve sorumluluklarını, yürüttükleri projeleri ve iletişim kanallarını kamuoyuyla düzenli olarak paylaşır, tüm paydaşları ortak akılla karar süreçlerimize katılmaya davet ederiz.
